Bola dcérou sidonského kráľa Etbála a manželkou izraelského kráľa Achaba. Pod jej vplyvom sa v Izraeli najviac rozšírila modloslužba. Zabíjala Pánových služobníkov verných Bohu. Jezabel je silný démonický duch aktuálny aj v dnešnom svete a v Cirkvi. Preto treba poznať jej charakter, o ktorom sa dozvedáme v Prvej a Druhej Knihe kráľov.

Pôsobenie kniežatstva Jezabel ako je popísané v Biblii

1.Príbeh kráľa Achaba a jeho ženy Jezabel

Najlepšie popisuje vlastnosti a správanie sa týchto síl temna, preto sú aj tieto sily pomenované podľa nich.

Jezabel bola dcéra kráľa Etbála, ktorého meno znamená „Bálov človek“ alebo „ s Bálom“ (1 Kr 16:31). Kráľ Etbál vládol cez Sidon (alebo aj Zidon), v starovekom meste Kánan, na pobreží Stredozemného mora. Bolo to jedno z najstarších Fenických miest tých čias. V tých dňoch to boli králi, ktorí slúžili aj ako kňazi pre ich miestny kult. Ľudia obetovali poľnohospodárskym bohom. Celá komunita bola zasvätená ich bohu alebo kultu. Kult vlastnil celú komunitu. Ľudia sa nesťahovali, dokiaľ nenašli od ich božstva nasmerovanie, celá ich viera bola v ich božstvo.

Answer: This article takes a very cautious view of the Alpha Course. We do recognize, however, that the Alpha Course has been a tremendous help to many Christians.

Many people have come to faith in Jesus Christ through the Alpha Course. Many more have been strengthened in their faith and knowledge of God’s Word because of the Alpha Course. So, why do we give a warning about the Alpha Course? The problem is that the Alpha Course can be very different depending on the church/organization that is using it. In the hands of a solidly evangelical teacher, the Alpha Course can be excellent. In the hands of someone trying to push beliefs and practices that are biblically questionable, the Alpha Course can be used to indoctrinate and mislead. As with any course or teaching, we must be diligent and discerning. We must diligently study God’s Word on our own and reject anything that contradicts the Bible. We must be discerning in evaluating the qualifications of the person or people teaching the course.

The Alpha Course is sweeping the nation and the world.  Is the Alpha Course good for new Christians?  Is it good for beginners in the Bible?

What is the Alpha Course?
Maybe you haven’t even heard of the Alpha Course, but you may be hearing about it soon.  This course is sweeping across America and is rapidly spreading around the globe.  Many denominations are using it to introduce new believers to the Bible and biblical doctrines.  What exactly is the Alpha Course?  It is basically an introductory course to the Christian faith.  In general, it is a fly-over and a shallow look at God and the Bible.  It was created for new believers and the brainchild of the Holy Trinity Brompton Anglican church in London in the 1980’s, so it has been around for over 30 years now.  It has been hailed as a way to explore the meaning of life and is being widely used in churches, homes, prisons, universities, and a variety of locations.  There are specific courses for specific locations and vocations, like Alpha in the Workplace, Alpha for Prisons, Senior Alphas, Student Alphas, and several others.  Today, over 35,000 courses have been offered in over 170 countries and almost 20 million people have taken the course.
